Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) taught two workshops to our high school gifted and talented students today. Jessica taught "Risky Business” and “Money Skills, preparing for financial independence," and Sarah talked to them about the importance of saving and savings accounts.

Basketball games against Midway scheduled for Friday have been cancelled.


With continued precipitation & temps dropping in the 20s overnight, IPS will postpone Parent Teacher Conferences tomorrow. NEXT WEEK we will conduct them via phone conference. Elementary teachers will contact all of their students' homes and JH/HS teachers will call for all students with grades below a "C" in their class. Parents can also message a teacher directly through the staff list on the IPS website or the Warrior News app.

Indianola School will have a Snow Day Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 due to continued poor road conditions.


Tomorrow, February 1, 2023 will be a Distance Learning day for Indianola Schools. Stay safe and warm!


We were just informed by Pittsburg County Emergency Management that the forecasted weather is moving in quicker than anticipated. Students may start being picked up early at this time, buses will leave at noon. Parent of driving students may call and have them dismissed early. No after school care.

Indianola Schools WILL be in school today. We will monitor the weather situation. Should it change, we will let parents know promptly. Right now, with our own observations and talking with the county the roads are clear and are being Pre-treated.

Tuesday January 31st will be a Distance Learning day. Students were sent home with materials today in anticipation of this bad weather. Stay safe and warm!
