Future Warriorettes Shine on the Thunder Court! The Lady Bears had an unforgettable night playing on the Thunder court! They’ve been so much fun to watch—both on and off the court—and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and heart. No matter the challenge, they never gave up! Huge shoutout to Mrs. Sennett (2.0) for keeping the momentum going by coaching Little League and helping build these girls into the athletes they’re becoming. Indianola 4H/FFA Shines at the Pittsburg County Junior Livestock Show Premium Sale! Our Indianola 4H and FFA students had a fantastic night at the Premium Sale. A special congratulations to Senior, Hunter, who not only represented Indianola well but also received three scholarships for his outstanding efforts! We are so proud of all our students for their commitment to excellence in agriculture and their representation of Indianola with pride. #LivingtheLegacy

They’ve been practicing their read-aloud skills with voices and entertainment to make storytime extra special for our Pre-K and Kindergarten students next week during Read Across America Week. 🍪🔬 Science + Oreos = Sweet Learning! 🔬🍪 Both Indianola's Junior High and High School science students got hands-on (and maybe a little hungry!) with Oreo labs this week! 🌕➡️ JH students used Oreos to model the phases of the moon, while HS students explored mitosis using the delicious cookie layers to represent cell division! 🧫✨Who knew science could be so tasty?#LivingtheLegacy
🚀🪐 2nd Grade’s Solar System Mural is Complete! 🌎✨Indianola 2nd graders put the finishing touches on their solar system mural in the library today—just in time for the Planet Parade tomorrow night! 🌟🎨 Their hard work and creativity brought the cosmos to life, and we couldn’t be more proud!

Indianola 6th-12th grade Gifted & Talented students had an incredible experience at the OKC Thunder Blue Field Day! ⚡️ From interactive activities to learning about teamwork and leadership, this day was filled with fun, learning, and a little friendly competition! 🏆🙌

🎯🔍 Career Planning in Action! 🔍🎯
A huge thank you to Rachael Ranallo from KTC for visiting with our 5th-8th grade students to discuss career planning and Career Tech! Our students were AWESOME, engaging in great discussions and interactive games to explore future opportunities. 🚀✨
🛠️ Highlights:
✅ 5th graders played “I Have, Who Has” to learn about different occupations and explored the McAlester campus viewbook before testing their knowledge in “Careers of Fortune” 🎡🔠
✅ 6th & 8th graders set career and academic goals using OK Career Guide and took on the “Careers of Fortune” challenge!
💪 We also got a sneak peek at summer TECH Camp—more details coming soon!
